Sing-Wi Thailand ( Kolak Singkong-Wijen )
This original recipe from thailand. Singkong or Casava with wijen or sesame.
In Indonesia we call KOLAK SINGKONG, but the taste little bit different because in this recipe we used sesame.
Ingredient:
500 gr Casava, peeled. ( cut into slice )
200 ml water
1 tsp salt
100 gr granulated sugar
2 pandan leaves
2 tbsp sesame seeds.
sauce:
300 ml coconut milk + pinch of salt + 2 tsp maizena.
How to make:
1. Cook water and add casava + salt + pandan leaves. When casava cooked and then add the sugar. Let them cook and stir well.
2. sauce: Cook coconut milk + salt+ maizena. Stir until boiling.
3. Place casave into a bowl and pour the sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
